I am interested in solo performance and accompanying instrumentalists and singers.
I have a broad repertoire of styles, mainly classical,
and enjoy the challenge of learning new works.
I have been involved as a church musician in and around Brixham, South Devon, since 2011.
These days I prefer to distance ritual in favour of inclusive worship that addresses social and contemporary issues, based on a non-conservative interpretation of scripture minus Catholic-style ‘apostolic tradition’ baggage.
So for churches requiring a pianist or organist in Torbay I may be available but I am not seeking a position.
The organ is a curious beast to master with something of an anorak following but can be very rewarding.
For texture and colour it is brilliant but I much prefer the piano for expression and sensitivity.
At home I have a lovely nearly-new Grotrian-Steinweg piano.
See my YouTube channel digitallegro for some piano and organ samples.
